SaVee's Art by heart

It's the journey of an Artist who is unsure of her artistic abilities. She used to be amazed by some of the local artists painting posts on Facebook and Etsy.

She had no clue what it takes to make a perfect acrylic canvas painting, and then came a coronavirus and lockdown period. It's challenging to keep oneself motivated sitting at home by watching web series and old movies during this pandemic.

So she wanted to try the colors on the canvas, so we bought a bare minimum small 14 by 14 canvas set and premium acrylic colors from Michaels.

She started painting, and it so happened that the first painting she did was Lord Ganesha and is nothing short of artistic genius what you see on Etsy or Facebook pages.

I mean the use of colors and precision with which the curves and lines painted are purely professional.

I was busy with my web series, and she was growing with colors and canvas. First was an instant success, then the next four she did in no time with all the color combinations, and her work was getting better and better on each brush's stroke.

I'm entirely amused and in awe; how can it be possible without any prior formal training, neither any experience painting canvases.

You have a hobby, and you have a passion, then identify your hidden talent lurking deep within the mind and work towards it.

I mean, your story can end with a couple of Facebook likes and comments.

She started exploring how to be keep painting, and we started gifting them to our friends.

On slightly medium-sized canvases, she tried Gouri-Ganesha, Buddha, Shiva, and Hanuman, and they also came out pretty well.

Then came to 30W X 40H peaceful Buddha and 36H X 48W eternal lovers Radha-Krishna painting; they completely certified her hobby as a professional artist, and she has been growing as an artist. Just recently, she did a multi-figure Gouri-Ganesha-Shiva-Nandi painting, and it was masterful.

The biggest lessons from this attempt are

  • Age is no bar to trying new things.
  • Put your heart and hard work into something which you believe.
  • Removing the thought of what others say or think
  • Working for only profit only hinders the natural talent
  • I wouldn't know she followed her passion as it was utterly unexplored
